What Data We Collect

We collect only what you voluntarily provide:

Email address — if you subscribe to our Weekly Briefing newsletter. We use this solely to send you the newsletter. We never share, sell, or rent your email to third parties.

Company-record funding interest

If you use the IPAS record-funding form, we collect your email address and the selected research case, or your general interest in the research fund. By submitting the form, you ask us to contact you about contributing to the cost of company records. This is separate from a newsletter subscription. No payment details are collected and no money is taken.

These submissions are kept in our website enquiry log and mirrored to our enquiry-management system when available. The log also records the submission time, IP address and browser information for abuse prevention and tracing submission problems. Access is limited to the people handling enquiries and the services that host and process them for us. We do not publish your email or share it with another newsroom as part of a research collaboration.

You can withdraw your interest or request deletion by contacting editorial@remigration.ie. We retain this interest until we have handled your request, you withdraw it, or for a maximum of 12 months, whichever is sooner, unless we need to retain a limited record to honour a request not to contact you again.

How We Use Your Data

For newsletter subscribers, your email address is used to deliver our weekly newsletter and occasional updates about remigration.ie content. We do not use your data for profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose other than sending you the content you signed up for.

Email Service

Newsletter signups are processed through Formspree (or equivalent email service provider). Your email address is stored securely by this third-party provider. You can review their privacy policy on their respective website.

Cookies & Analytics

This site is static HTML and does not set cookies by default. If we add analytics in the future (such as Google Analytics), this policy will be updated to reflect that. We will never use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As this site is operated from Ireland, EU GDPR applies. You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Unsubscribe — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
