Hungarian national Gabor Istrauffy pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing child sexual abuse material in Kinsale. Cork Circuit Criminal Court jailed him for nine months after viewing a sample of the videos and images.
How the material was discovered
The court heard that Istrauffy gave a disc to a colleague so she could record something for him. She discovered the material and brought it to Garda attention. A detective said Istrauffy cooperated when Garda officers searched his home.
